Scenic flight, Cairns, Australia

When I was in Airlie Beach I met a girl who did a scenic flight above the Whitsundays. I liked the idea of doing a scenic flight as well but looking at time I didn’t getthe change to do it in Airlie Beach but I saw that the same company, GSL Aviation, did scenic flights in Cairns.
So after emailing back and forth I did the Reef Hopper Scenic Flight in Cairns. This flight is 45 minutes and goes over Cairns, Green Island, Arlington Reef, Upolu Reef, Double Island and Palm Cove. The next day I was going to snorkel at Green Island so I thought it would be a cool idea to first fly over the island.

I wanted to do the Reef and Rainforest flight, which is 1 hour and 20 minutes, but no one booked the flight and they only fly out on minimum 2 people what is understandable but a bit of a bummer. The other flight was still worth it though!

I hope you like my pictures but I have to say it looks more beautiful in real life.

GSL Aviation is a really good company, safety first and really good communication, and I would recommend them to anyone.
